From Two Pages to a Full Digital Presence
A Strategic Rebuild for Click n' Close Correspondent Lending

Click n' Close Correspondent Lending had built a strong reputation in the correspondent lending space—but their digital presence wasn't keeping up.

Townsend & Co. Marketing partnered with their team to develop a strategy, copy, and creative direction to help build a modern, lead-ready digital presence that finally tells the full story.

The Opportunity:

Building a Foundation for Digital Growth

Click n' Close Correspondent Lending came to us with a digital presence that wasn't doing them justice. Two pages and a contact form — that was it. Nothing that spoke to their reputation, their people, or the depth of their SmartBuy™ product offering. There was a real opportunity to build something that finally matched who they already were.

Project Goals:

  • Lead a full discovery process to understand the brand, the people, and the product

  • Establish brand foundations — voice, look, and feel built from the ground up

  • Redesign the website into a modern, trustworthy, and lead-ready experience

Phase 1 & 2:

Discovery, Audit & Brand Foundations

Before anything else, we needed to understand the full picture. We began with a full audit of Click n' Close's marketing ecosystem—evaluating everything from web experience and messaging to social presence and industry positioning.

From there, we focused on tightening the brand and building marketing tools that would support visibility, outreach, and internal consistency—especially across the SmartBuy™ product line.

Key Deliverables:

  • Full marketing ecosystem audit covering web, messaging, social, and industry positioning

  • Strategic roadmap identifying key gaps and priorities

  • Refined brand kit and SmartBuy™ messaging and product visuals

  • Marketing tool suite including LinkedIn strategy, Canva templates, and asset guidelines

Phase 3:

Brand, Build & Launch

This project wasn't just a website build — it was a rethinking of how Click n' Close shows up online.

Starting from scratch, we developed strategy, copy, content structure, and creative direction before collaborating with developers for the June 2025 launch. SmartBuy™ and the approved lender network were both central focuses — each getting a dedicated space that finally told the full story.

  • Full brand refresh including updated color palette, typography, and modernized design system

  • Reimagined site structure and UX for clarity, navigation, and mobile responsiveness

  • Fully rewritten, voice-aligned copy across all core and product pages

  • Dedicated SmartBuy™ hub and Approved Lenders section with gated resources and marketing toolkit

  • Streamlined CTAs, lead capture flow, and post-launch training

The result is a digital presence that finally reflects who Click n' Close is and where they're headed.

Bar chart of AI crawls by page, showing ChatGPT and Perplexity crawled the Click n' Close homepage most often, followed by the SmartBuy product page, January to June 2026
The Results:

Meaningful Growth Across the Board

Following the site relaunch, Click n' Close saw meaningful gains across traffic, engagement, and search visibility.

  • 70% increase in site sessions

  • 50% increase in unique visitors

  • 20% bounce rate improvement

  • 33% rise in clicks from search

The relaunch also changed where the brand shows up. Branded and SmartBuy™ terms began surfacing in AI search, and between January and June, ChatGPT and Perplexity crawled the homepage alone 1,285 times to answer real user queries.

A streamlined UX, clarified messaging, and more intentional content structure — the numbers reflect what happens when strategy and execution work together.
